Hi! I’m Shawn Kromrey, better known around Cadott as “Doc”.

My Path to a Career in Chiropractic

“I was in eighth grade when I hurt my back snowmobiling. I went to the local chiropractor and his care brought me immediate relief.”

“Around the same time my father lost his job, and I decided then and there that I didn’t want to work for anyone else. I wanted to be my own boss. That, coupled with my sister’s encouragement to become a chiropractor and my desire to help people, set me on a path to pursue chiropractic as a profession at the age of 14.”

From High School to Chiropractic College

I chose high school courses that would benefit me in chiropractic school and completed my undergraduate degree in two years. Then I enrolled at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Dr. Shawn graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the age of 23. “What a sense of accomplishment! By the time I was 24, I had achieved my goal of opening my own practice.”
