Next, we’ll hook you up to our computerized spinal decompression table. We’ll set the traction weight to the appropriate level for your needs, being careful not to aggravate any muscle spasms. The table gently stretches and releases your spine, creating space between the vertebrae. This action creates a vacuum effect, pulling bulging discs back into place and alleviating irritation on the nervous system.

We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your therapy, so you can lie face up or face down on the table—whichever you prefer. A staff member always monitors you to ensure you’re not uncomfortable or apprehensive. You will also be given the kill switch, so you can instantly stop the table anytime you want. Most patients find the experience relaxing and enjoyable, but they like the control of knowing they could stop the table if they wanted to.
